About ALC

Based on an extensive experience in the educational field, the American Learning Center was established in order to serve youth and professionals in their various fields of practices to acquire and make use of the English Language.

Since the English language is a communicative language, we based our curriculum adopting several approaches to language instruction mainly the direct and audio-lingual at the beginner, elementary and intermediate levels. The community language learning and cooperative learning approaches are implemented starting at the upper-intermediate levels and the advanced ones.

Furthermore, the center has appointed highly qualified instructors to engage in the learning process and to prepare students for a secure University Entrance Examination.

In addition, our Center has chosen certain disciplines that became integral specialties like the English for Special Purpose classes namely the International Business English, the English for Law and The English for Medicine. What’s more, The American Learning Center has chosen expert teachers for foreign language instruction such as Arabic, French, Spanish, Italian, German, Portuguese and Chinese.

To sum it all up, our center is concerned with more than the mere teaching-learning process.
